Bought this without hearing a single note. These women are the absolute Queens of punk blues. Listen to "Love of Ivy" & check out Margaret's slide guitar. Just freakin' badass. (IMHO) this version blows away Gun Clubs'... That guitar along with her voice & Tara's drums kicks my ass every time. And speaking of slide..."Tell Me" is a showcase of her massive talent. Smokin'! Mr. Airplane Man is the real deal. Criminally underrated band. My appreciation only grows...

So hard to pick a favorite on any of M.A.M.'s albums. Their music transcends the punk blues label in so many ways. And I love how heavy some of their more "mellow" tunes really are. The sum turns out so much larger than the parts. I just freakin' this band.🤘 edit: "Where I Belong" hit me like a sledge, after listening to this album hundreds of times. SO beautiful it hit me harder than most metal I play. LOVE when that happens. Nobody does it better than these two.

Choosing between Over that Hill & On a Plane for my #1 was impossible at 1st. Margaret's slide guitar on Over... finally tipped the scales. For now. All 4 tunes are stellar, typical of all M.A.M's albums. Nobody out there does it better.
